What personal data we collect

• Your email address.
• Your phone number.
• Whether you are applying for medicine, dentistry, or both.
• Your intended entry year.
• The content of any message you send us.
• Any information you submit through our Facebook and Instagram lead forms, which normally includes your name, email address and phone number.
• Technical and usage information collected by cookies and similar technologies, such as pages viewed and how you reached the site.

If you book a course, our payment provider collects the payment details needed to take your payment. We do not store your full card details.

How we collect it

• Our website enquiry and callback forms.
• Lead advertisements and lead forms on Facebook and Instagram.
• Direct contact from you by email, phone, WhatsApp or social media message.
• Cookies and tracking technologies when you use our website.

Why we use it and our lawful basis

• Responding to your enquiry, arranging a callback and providing the course information you asked for. Lawful basis: legitimate interests: it is in our interest and yours to answer the enquiry you have made.
• Sending marketing emails about our courses and admissions guidance. Lawful basis: your consent, which you may withdraw at any time.
• Delivering a course you have booked and taking payment. Lawful basis: performance of a contract with you.
• Measuring and improving our advertising and website. Lawful basis: your consent for non-essential cookies and tracking; our legitimate interests in understanding how our services are used.
• Meeting legal and accounting obligations. Lawful basis: compliance with a legal obligation.

Who we share it with

• HubSpot: our customer relationship management and email provider, which stores enquiry records and sends our emails.
• Meta Platforms (Facebook and Instagram) , for lead advertising and for measuring the performance of our campaigns.
• Our payment provider: to process course payments securely.
• Our website hosting and IT providers, and our professional advisers, where needed to run our business.
• Regulators or authorities where we are required to share data by law.

We do not sell your personal data and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Where your data is stored

Your personal data is stored on servers in the European Union. Where a provider such as Meta processes data outside the UK or EU, that transfer is covered by UK approved safeguards, such as the International Data Transfer Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

How long we keep it

• Enquiry records: up to 24 months from your last contact with us, so we can support your application cycle, then deleted.
• Marketing contacts: until you unsubscribe or withdraw consent, and reviewed every 24 months.
• Booking and payment records: 6 years after the end of the relevant financial year, to meet UK accounting and tax requirements.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Have inaccurate data corrected (rectification).
• Ask us to delete your data (erasure).
• Ask us to restrict how we use your data.
• Object to processing based on our legitimate interests, including marketing.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We would appreciate the chance to resolve your concern first.

Cookies and tracking

Essential cookies keep the website working and cannot be switched off. We also use, with your consent, the following non-essential technologies:

• Meta Pixel: tells us which Facebook and Instagram adverts led to enquiries and allows us to show relevant adverts to people who have visited the site.
